Vostok volleyball club will be holding trials for those who want to play for rep teams in 2016. They will be run at Homebush Boys High School from 7:00pm to 9:30pm in two nights:

1. Women trials on Tuesday, 8th of March
2. Men trials on Tuesday, 15th of March
And additional one might be held on 22/03 if it is required.

It will be free for the current Vostok Club social members and $10 per a non-member.
If you are not sure if you could play at rep teams we would encourage you still to come and try out.

Vostok open cup #2 was held at Lakemba. Vostok teams show great results. Men team won Men's Div, vostok girls finished third.

Sydney Vostok teams have successfuly performed at Russian Cup 2015.Sydney Vostok 1 men's team won the gold medals and the Cup again this year.Sydney Vostok 2 men's team won the silver medals after losing in close grand final 25:20, 29:27, 25:19.Women's Sydney Vostok 1 team finished second after losing in the grand final to very strong Dandenong Cossacks.Another women's team has got bronze medals. What an incredible game tonight, playing without two usual outisde hitters, Vostok team demostrated its full strengts and won the 3rd place in B grade by beating very strong opponent "Yeee Harrr!" by better points difference: 24:26, 25:14, 14:15. Well done guys! Vostok will be playing in A grade next season.

A  very first open Vostok Volleyball Cup is schedulled at Sydney Olympic Park Sport Halls on 26/09/15. It is a full day comp from 9am to 6pm. Mens Div1 and Div2, Womens and Mixed divsions would be offered. Entry fee is only $200 per team with prizes for winners and runners up. For more information please download a flyer.

Vostok Club played at the first season at A2 SNV competition and did great. The team finished first after round robin games, beat "Froggie Killers" 3:0 in semifinal, but lost 1:3 to "Hit & Miss" in a very tough and interesting game.

A new season is expecting to be a big one. Trainings will continue on Tuesday nights at Homebush Boys High School starting from 27 of January 2015 .Vostok will be playing in two social comps:SNV Preseason competition at North Ryde on Monday nights starting from 02/02/2015UTS Season 1 on Thursday nights at Sydney Boys High School at Moore Park starting from 15/01/2015

Due to nonavailability of our regular venue, one volleyball court has been booked for 3 Thursday nights from 7PM till 9:30PM on 27/11, 04/12 and 11/12. It will be happening at Hall of the Legends of Sydney Olympic Park Sport Centre near to Golf centre. Car parking is available at P7 for free of charge for people playing there but it is subject to availability. Otherwise it off street parking for 2 hrs or parking at the nearest P3 for $5 per hour. Homebush Boys High School has advised us the gym where Vostok is having weekly trainings will be undergoing some renovations and won't be available in November. Unfortunattely, the gym will not be available until next year so we are trying to book a court at Sport Centre in Sydney Olympic Park. Most likely it will be on Thursday nights from 7:00PM till 9:30PM on 27/11/14, 04/12/14 and 11/12/14.
